Rose M. MacClure.
Associate Attorney
Rose grew up on a farm outside of Whiting, Iowa. She attended college at Chadron State where she received Bachelor’s degree in Legal studies. While in college, Rose worked part time for the Douglas Kelly Law Office in Chadron as a legal assistant. After graduating college, Rose continued on as a full-time legal assistant with the firm until leaving to pursue a Juris Doctor degree at University of Nebraska College of Law in August of 2019. Rose received her Juris Doctor degree from Nebraska in May of 2022. During her time at law school, Rose returned to Chadron each summer to clerk for the Douglas Kelly Law Offices. Rose is passionate about animals and when not at work she likely is working with her horses or exploring trails with her dog. While attending law school, Rose volunteered as a therapeutic riding instructor for Windsong Equitherapy in Lincoln, Nebraska helping individuals of all ages with varying abilities reach their goals. While she cannot volunteer her time as an instructor anymore due to distance, Rose still is actively involved in the operations of Windsong Equitherapy and currently sits as Vice President on the Board of Directors. After being admitted to the Nebraska Bar in September, Rose joined Douglas, Kelly, Ostdiek, Snyder, Ossian and Vogl, P.C. as an attorney in our Chadron Office. Rose’s area of practice is focused on business planning, real estate, estate planning, family law, and civil litigation.
